An interesting silver & cut crystal claret jug decanter, of globular form with silver collar and matching silver stopper.The silver bears the sponsors mark of J Sherwood & Sons of Birmingham. Size: Measures 9 (23 cm) tall to the top of the stopper. Condition: The jug is in order commensurate with age and use, this item is over 100 years old.
The silver is in good condition, with no monograms or repairs, but some light dinks and dents. The crystal body is in general good order with no damage to the threaded design. The is a little detritus to the interior, which disappears when filled with a liquid. We specialise in quality named silver, flatware and crystal.
